First Step:
Ingredients:
Mastered
oil 200 ml
Beef (cut
in stripes) 1/2 kg
Mace
powder ½ tsp
Crushed
red chili 1 tbs
Turmeric
powder ½ tsp
Cumin
powder 1 tsp
Garam
masala powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander
powder 1 tsp
Fried
onions 1 cup
Yogurt
thick 1 cup
Ginger
& garlic paste 2 tbs
Raw
papaya paste 4 tbs
Coal for
the BBQ instant burn
Skewer as needed
Onion to
large cut round(if you want)
Crushed
black pepper 1 tsp
Red
chili powder 1/2 tsp
Nutmeg
powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
First grind the fried onions and the yogurt to a paste and keep aside.
Then in a
bowl add beef, fried onion & yogurt paste, raw papaya, ginger & garlic
paste, red chili powder, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder, crushed red chili,
coriander powder, gram masala powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, mace powder,
salt, mustard oil and mix well and cover and keep in the fridge over night.
And then add the beef strips on the skewer.
Then in a pan add 4 to 5 tbs of oil and add the skewers in it keep changing the sides cover and cook on low to medium till cooked completely and all the water dries.
then place a piece of foil in the middle of the onions and add the hot coal in it, drizzle a little oil on it cover it , this will give a BBQ effect to the onions, keep aside.
And once the beef is ready take it of the skewers and put it in the pan you fried it, place a piece of foil and the hot coal on it drizzle oil and cover it this will give a BBQ effect to the beef as well. ( if u want u can serve it on the skewer but that is how i like to serve).
Finally on a platter spread the onion rings and in the middle the beef pieces, garnish it with lemon vegetables and serve hot with naan.
